Riccardo Romagnoli and Luca Maria Attianese in car #43, Eugenio Pisani and Stefano Zerbi in car #55 did an impressive job at Spa Francorchamps where car #55 secured a 3rd place in Pro-Am class race 1.
Race 1:
The first stint show the real pace of Luca Maria Attianese who battled a lot with Antoine Berberich-Martini, Svepes and Vandierendock giving the car to Riccardo Romagnoli in P2 Pro-Am. Meanwhile Stefano Zerbi, driving with care, secured to give the car to Eugenio in P7 Pro-Am. A safety car at the end of the first stint brought the group back together leading to a quick comeback by Eugenio Pisani, being the quickest car of its stint. Meanwhile Riccardo Romagnoli was defending its second position Pro-Am.
Another safety car due to an accident at the bus stop corner brought again the group back together and penalized Riccardo Romagnoli due to a 5s penalty for track limits. This brought Riccardo and Luca in P4 Pro-Am and Eugenio and Stefano in P3 Pro-Am concluding with the first podium of the season for the pair and for SP Racing in GT Cup Europe.
Race 2:
In race 2, a bad qualifying made car #55 starting in P9 overall. After a first clean lap they secured to get P7 overall and P2 Pro-Am while Riccardo Romagnoli was battling in the back securing its P6 Pro-Am position. A contact at the end of the Kemmel straight lead car #55 to start from behind the big group in P23 overall. Another strong comeback brought back again car #55 in P2 Pro-Am but, meanwhile, Riccardo Romagnoli was sent off by the Ferrari 488 of Fernando Navarrete at the Bus Stop ending the race due to damages to the car.
